Hi there,
I am Aditya Pradana, a product designer with visual / interaction design background and over 15 years of experience building complex applications.

I’m passionate about using my design skills to help organisations build the right products, the ones that solve the right problems and make the users happy.

Another thing that I’m passionate about is joining an organisation that fosters a good culture. A culture that values things like trust, respect, unity and diversity. A culture that treat each other like humans so that we can be ourselves to show our best. A culture with an environment that allows people to learn and grow so that great ideas can flourish and be well-executed. I believe getting the culture right is the best way to build a long-lasting successful organisation.

Of all the many things I learned in my career, there are three things that never failed me when it comes to building a great product:

1. Start with why
   Once the why is clear, the what and the how is usually very easy. Find out more

The story so far

In 2014, I joined a startup that eventually became Engage Technology Partners as its Head of Design. It’s a SaaS business offering an end-to-end recruitment solution which allows agencies, end hirers and workers to collaborate on verifying candidates right-to-work(plus other qualifications), getting candidates placed in vacancies, and getting invoices raised and paid.

I lead the vision, strategy and execution of the company’s product design and user experience as well as established the creative direction for the entire products and services.

I also formed and lead a team of five multi-talented senior designers responsible for turning the complex, lengthy, repetitive and labour-intensive recruitment processes (such as registrations, timesheets, payroll, payment and reporting) into something simple, fast and delightful.

Before Engage, I led the user experience team at TotalJobs.com, where I was responsible for, among other things, its job search service, CV database and mobile web app. I led the Google Drive implementation to mobile web allowing the jobseekers to attach their CV via mobile phones. It was the first UK job boards to do that resulting an immediate 20% increase in job applications. After that I joined Springer Nature - one of the world's largest publishers - overhauling ADISInsight, the company’s drug and medical research database product.

In the past, I was the lead user experience designer at ClinPhone - now Parexel, a leading global provider of biopharmaceutical services - designing their Drug Accountability app from scratch. In 2007, it went on to win two international awards: an International Stevie® Award for Best New Product and a Good Clinical Practice Journal Awards for Best Technological Development in Clinical Trial Management.

Early in my career, I worked as a graphic designer producing print ads and other material for clients such as Hewlett Packard, Siemens, and Standard Chartered Bank.
